This was our second year playing at the St Michael’s Folk Evening, the final event of the annual St Albans Folk Week. This time with more ukuleles and percussion too. Oh, and an audience that seemed to stick with us even though the noisy Morris Dancers were only yards away out in the street…(see ‘Keep your eye on the prize’ where Esther, on camera, wanders off into the street part way through). As the evening grew darker we had dancers of our own – and we had a lot of fun – thanks to all the Players!

Well what a great night!
We could of played all night and they could of danced all night.
As Steve (Blind Lemon) Williams said, an excellent evening and I actually managed to get a beefburger this time; courtesy of Mr Paul, your Bassman!!!!
To top it all, The Rose & Crown sold out of every beer, so a good night for them as well. So, on behalf of Steve, Esther, Katie and myself Et Al; Pat yourselves on the back for a very fine job, very well done.
