The Grand Northern Ukulele Festival is on in Huddersfield on the above dates.
Some of us are attending, (Steve, Esther, Billy, Kath and myself all plan to be there.)
It’s a weekend of Ukulele, with some great acts performing, Manitoba Hal is back, The Quiet American (Aaron Keim) plus lots of others.(Phil Doleman who did a workshop for us will also be performing)
There is also a huge range of workshops to attend to enhance our playing skills and learn new tricks. The fun starts on the Friday night and finishes on the Sunday evening.
If you fancy going, I should think about booking accommodation fairly soon, as the inexpensive accommodation goes very quickly.
More details can be found on the GNUF website, here:

Here’s a link to the latest missive from GNUF.

If you are planning to attend and do a workshop or two, there is a discount code of ‘niceness’ which will get you 10% off any workshops. This offer is only valid until 4pm on the 19th March.
Tickets for GNUF are rapidly selling out, so you had better think about making a decision if you want to go!
